Brown Sugar Pancake Syrup

INGREDIENTS

  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar

  • 1/4 cup sugar

  • 3/4 cup water

  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup

  • 1/2 teaspoon maple flavoring

  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

INSTRUCTIONS

  • In a saucepan, combine the sugars, water and corn syrup; bring to a boil over medium heat.

  • Broil for 7 minutes or until slightly thickened.

  • Remove from the heat; stir in maple flavoring and vanilla.

  • Cool for 15 minutes. Serve over pancakes, waffles or French toast.

  • Will last up to 2 months in the fridge.
